Then Commute Friendly NC is the recognition program for YOUR workplace!

We are a statewide network of employers small and large, local and multinational committed to promoting commuter alternatives and providing commuter benefits to their employees. As part of the program, participating employers have access to all sorts of resources, including:

• One-on-one consultations;
• All-staff coaching sessions;
• Community clinics;
• On-demand guidance, and;
• Public recognition for the hard work your workplace does to support employees in their commute to work.

We recognize all sorts of employee benefits as part of our program, including:

• Pre-tax benefits such as transit subsidies, carpool parking, and vanpool;
• Post-tax benefits such as bikeshare services, and;
• Other benefits such as a telework/hybrid work policy, bicycle parking, and lockers and showers.

Led by the Central Pines Regional Council (CPRC), this initiative is powered by a strong, collaborative partnership among seven statewide agencies:

• GoCoast (Wilmington)
• Piedmont Authority for Regional Transit (PART)

• Sustain Charlotte
